I have just downloaded your AALog 3 to test out how it works. I notice one cannot insert frequency in the "New QSO" field, but have to go back to the edit function to insert Frequency. Only allows Band to be put in. Am I not setup correctly or is this so ?

I am on a sailing boat on the east coast of Australia. From which site would I download SeaTTY, which version would work for Windows Vista and how much does it cost. Do you have a trial version?

For sea comrades I try to test this product with a SONY ICF-2001D. Stay place : Antibes, but not on sea. In town no possibilty to receive NAVTEX,additionnaly the PC gives a lot of garbage on these frequencies, just after have had drown a cable the reception of TTY Hamburg was succesfull; I tried to save the result to show it to the interested people to buy the product, but not possible; I mean there are other possibilities of demonstration f.e limit of the date of utilisation and as a conclusion the product could not be tested fully and concerning NAVTEX for the security it is surely better to buy a dedicated receiver or simply hear the CW.

I use CW-TPE for some years. I have it now
installed on two PCs under XP.
There is something strange on both machines: When I begin to send via paddle
for the first 5 to 10 minutes one dit or dah out of about 30 is garbled. After that time all works fine. Any Idea? Thanks!

Hello. I have a copy of CWType that came with a "rig talk" interface that I purchased. Currently I use Winlog32 for logging and rig control with my Icom 706 and the interface works great. However, now I'm trying to configure CWType into the setup and I can't get it to "talk" to my radio. It will send characters but won't trigger the radio into transmit. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong in the setup? I have it set for "Omni" and have tried every other combination I can think of with no success. Thanks and 73. Kevin

In setting up TrueTTy, I can't get the received text to show up in the main panel, it does however, show up in the notepad portion, which indicates to me that the signals are being received and properly decoded. How do I get the text to show in the main panel ?

It is as you have suggested. The two colours are identical. Have just changed them and made a test on 40m. Works fine.

Next time I may have a closer look at the many features of the programme.

The call VA3AAV appeared on the screen and immediately after it disappeared and the message read like this.

CQ CQ de contest k.

I experienced that before with 'no contest' QSOs but did not get around asking.

What might it be? Thanks for your patience.

I am just watching the WAE RTTY contest with TrueTTy and see that the call of the calling station disappears every time just after it has shown on the screen and leaves the rest of the message with a blank where the call should be. How can I change that?

May I ask for help?
